Karela
Karela contains a few chemicals, including glycoside, charantin, vicine, karavilosides,
and polypeptide-p (plant insulin). These chemicals might improve blood sugar levels
by raising the glucose uptake and synthesis of glycogen in the liver, fat, and muscles cells.
Neem
Azadirachta indica has complex of various constituents including nimbin, nimbidin,
nimbolide, and limonoids and such types of ingredients play role in diseases
management through modulation of various genetic pathways and other activities.
Jambubeej
The chemical composition of Jamun described in Table 1 includes crude fat 1.02 mg
(1.18–4.50%), crude protein 3.84 to 7.17 mg (6.3–8.5%), carbohydrate 22.8 g to 31.6 g
(41%), crude fiber 7.01 mg (2.64–16.9%), calcium 0.6 mg (0.41%), and phosphorus 0.072

Amla
