  About Composition:   
Punarnava (Boerhavia diffusa)
Boerhaavia diffusa is an herb found in Ayurveda and other traditional medicines. Historically,
Boerhaavia diffusa has been used for its anti-diabetic and diuretic properties. In different
areas of the world, Boerhaavia diffusa has also been used for pain relief, anti-inflammation,
and treating indigestion.

Badi Elaichi (Amomum subulatum)
Badi Elaichi is helpful in managing diabetes as it lowers the blood glucose levels due to its
antioxidant properties. The antioxidants present in it also helps in reducing the risk of heart
diseases by lowering cholesterol levels. Consuming Badi Elaichi powder twice a day is good
for patients with heart disease.

Varun Chhal (Crataeva nurvala)
Varuna (the God of water) attains its name in Sanskrit because of its effect on the bodily
fluids and urinary system. It is recommended by the Ayurveda in the treatment of various
urinary problems including stones in kidney, ureters and bladder.

Kulthi (Dolichos biflorus) 
In Ayurveda, the seed of Dolichos biflorus or Kulthi is used in the treatment of piles,
joint inflammation & pain, constipation, urinary calculi, cough, edema, asthma, leucorrhoea
etc. Soup or extract prepared from seeds is also beneficial in enlarged liver and spleen.

Gokhru (Tribulus terrestris)
It is used in traditional medicine for chest pain, heart problems, dizziness, skin and eye
disorders, to expel kidney stones, and as a diuretic and tonic. Tribulus is also marketed
as a dietary supplement to improve sexual function and for body building due to the belief that
it acts like testosterone in the body.

Pashan Bhed (Bergenia ligulate)
Pashanbhed is used in the management of kidney and bladder stones, urinary problems,
and other diseases due to its medicinal properties like: Anti-inflammatory activity. Antilithic
activity (preventing the formation of stones) Antiviral activity.

Giloy (Tinospora cordifolia)
Tinospora cordifolia has an importance in traditional ayurvedic medicine used for ages in
the treatment of fever, jaundice, chronic diarrhea, cancer, dysentery, bone fracture, pain,
asthuma, skin disease, poisonous insect, snake bite, eye disorders.

Kutki (Picrorhiza kurrooa)
Kutki is an anti-pyretic, anthelmintic, carminative, stomachic, hepatoprotector, anti-malarial,
and laxative in small doses but cathartic in large doses. It improves appetite and stimulates
gas- tric secretions. It is useful for asthma, cold, and cough, and also administered in liver
complaints, anaemia, and jaundice.

 Ral Safed (Shorea robusta)
Shorea robusta has been traditionally used for various ailments. The leaves and bark are used
to treat wounds, ulcers, leprosy, cough, gonorrhea, earache and headache. The bark is also
used to treat diarrhoea, dysentery and vaginal discharges.

 Nagarmotha (Cyperus rotundus)
Nagarmotha powder is useful to manage various health issues like obesity, indigestion and
worm infestation. The Deepan (appetizer) and Pachan (digestive) properties of Nagarmotha
helps to reduce Ama ( toxic remains in the body due to improper digestion) which is a prime
cause of obesity and other digestive disorders.

Sarak Bhasma (Potassium nitrat)
Potassium Nitrate is a transparent, white or colorless, crystalline (sand-like) powder or solid
with a sharp, salty taste. It is used to make explosives, matches, fertilizer, fireworks, glass
and rocket fuel.

Yavakshara Bhasma (Potassium carbonate) 
Yavakshar is a formulation which is alkaline and is prepared from barley [Yava] which comprises
of potassium carbonate. It helps in treating urinary disorders, abdominal disorders. This
formulation acts as a diuretic and also induces perspiration. It helps in balancing Vata
and Kapha Doshas.
