About Composition:
Fungal Amylase
Fungal amylases have been widely used for the industrial production due to advantages
such as cost effectiveness, consistency, less time and space required for production and
ease of process modification and optimization (6).
Lipase (Fungal)
Fungal lipases have applications not only in the hydrolysis of fats and oils (triglycerides)
but are also involved in synthetic reactions such as esterification, acidolysis, alcoholysis,
interesterification, and aminolysis.
Fungal Diastase
Fungal diastase or fungal alpha-amylase is an enzyme that is generally consumed as a
supplement or medicine to get rid of indigestion or gastric distress. This acts as a digestion
conditioner. It enhances the conversion of starch into its by-product, i.e., maltose and maltose to glucose.
Papain
People use papain for dental cavities, shingles, parasite infections, jellyfish stings, wound healing,
and many other conditions, but there is no good scientific evidence to support these uses.
Fungal Cellulase
Cellulase is a potential candidate in numerous industries as textile, detergent, pulp and paper,
bioactive compounds, food, animal feed, biofuel, etc. Due to its immense applications in different
fields, cellulase is intensively researched by both academics and industries.
Pepsin
Pepsin is a stomach enzyme that serves to digest proteins found in ingested food.
Gastric chief cells secrete pepsin as an inactive zymogen called pepsinogen.
